I'm not sure how someone manage to video tape sexy sports reporter through her hotel peephole, but her recent statements it looks to be real.
I personally think this is a horrible thing to do to someone.
So if you find the video DON'T post it here. I do have some ethics and this crosses the line.
Also do not post links to the video etc...
Keep in mind. It could you wife, mother or daughter in a hotel room and this fool could be video taping her through the peephole ...
Thanks guys...
LOS ANGELES, July 17 /PRNewswire/—With respect to recent Internet postings of Erin Andrews, she has authorized her attorney, Marshall B. Grossman of Bingham McCutchen LLP, to issue the following statement:
“While alone in the privacy of her hotel room, Erin Andrews was surreptitiously videotaped without her knowledge or consent. She was the victim of a crime and is taking action to protect herself and help ensure that others are not similarly violated in the future. Although the perpetrator or perpetrators of this criminal act have not yet been identified, when they are identified she intends to bring both civil and criminal charges against them and against anyone who has published the material. We request respect of Erin’s privacy at this time, while she and her representatives are working with the authorities.”

They were talking about this on sports radio earlier today. Naturally we rushed to find it, but it had already been taken down. Pretty fucked up that someone would do that. ;sadface;

There will always be places to get it... but come one.
Anyone who finds this to be ok has never been a victim of a crime. A hotel is an extension of your home when you are there. If you have ever had your home violated then you know how you will never feel safe again and that's not right.

Agreed, it's bad enough that celebrities are hounded and harassed on a daily basis by paparazzi, but now they have to look for hidden cameras in hotel rooms, and people with telephoto lenses a mile off shore looking into their house. It's all getting a little out of hand.

When a woman bares all of her own volition and allows someone to photograph and / or record her, that's all well and good. But when someone sneaks around looking for this kind of stuff (a.k.a. paparazzi or b.k.a. perverts), it is a total violation of her person.

Found this on another website.
"It appears that the videos were posted on ************.com by username “Goblazers1″ as early as February 17, 2009. These videos have been sitting on the Internet, widely available to anyone willing to search for “Erin Andrews”. How these videos flew under the radar for so long is beyond me, beyond the fact that nobody had a concrete source for the videos or could verify that the videos were indeed of Erin Andrews.
That all changed today when ESPN’s general counsel sent and email to ***********.com requesting to take the videos down. Jaws dropped as this was basically an acknowledgment that the videos were of Erin Andrews.
So now we’re left with questions, and lots of them. If you’ve seen the videos or screen caps, you’ll realize that yes it resembles her but the quality is so poor that if they were not acknowledged it would have been passed off as a sophomoric Internet prank."
Sounds like if they had just kept their mouths shut, no one would ever know.

UPDATE...
It seems that the video might have been taken by someone on the ESPN production staff, The person videotaped her in two different hotel rooms and it looks like they drilled holes in the hotel walls.
It does now sound like an inside job. Also the video has been on Dailymotion since February (now removed) .

If anyone has stills or vid, PM it to me. :)
If she really was taped without her knowledge its shitty but I have to admit it does turn me on. Personally I actually think she might have known about the taping.
Just my gut feeling.

I guarantee you she didn't know about it. It's hard enough for women to get treated seriously as reporters in the sports world, especially when they are as hot as Erin Andrews. All she ever wanted to do is be a serious reporter, that's why you never saw her trading on her good looks for extra attention ie: danica pattrick.
It's still online in places, just search for it. It's a waste of time though, image quality sucks and you can't even tell it's her. Plus one of the downloads I heard about has a virus attached to it.

That's exactly why I think she might have known.
No matter what she does she'll NEVER be seen seriously.
She could get Barry Bonds to admit he used 'roids because Pete Rose bet him he wouldn't and she'd still never be looked at as a serious sports reporter.
Why not try to gain exposure, and maybe cash in without looking like a quitter and gaining some sympathy as well?
I might be to conspiracy-minded.

I'm hearing now that she might of released the video herself to get her name out there more. From people with in ESPN she has been having low ratings on her interviews and people are saying she was having a hard time to get anymore air time.

She seems to be genuinely peeved about the entire thing. At this time, I'm inclined to take her at her word.

she has the right to be pissed, that loser invaded her privacy and then records her naked in her hotel room. Dont get me wrong she looks great naked even though it is hard to see the real deal but this will just turn her off from doing anything like this or more later on

Update 10-03-09:
From CNN.com
Arrest made in ESPN reporter's voyeur video case
Authorities arrested a man accused of secretly taping ESPN sports reporter Erin Andrews in the nude and posting the videos on the Internet, the FBI said Friday. ESPN reporter Erin Andrews claims someone videotaped her while she was nude and posted video online. Authorities arrested 48-year-old Michael David Barrett at Chicago O'Hare International Airport on Friday. Barrett faces a charge of interstate stalking, the FBI said. Barrett is accused of taping Andrews while she was nude in two hotel rooms. He then made eight videos that he posted on the Internet, the FBI said. Barrett allegedly filmed seven of the eight videos at a hotel room in Nashville, Tennessee, in September 2008. FBI agents said they found evidence that a peephole to the door of Andrews' hotel room had been altered. The FBI learned that Barrett checked into the same hotel at that time and asked for a room adjacent to Andrews using his home address to register for the room. According to a criminal complaint, Barrett tried to sell the videos to celebrity gossip Web site TMZ.com. Employees at the Web site also helped in the investigation providing Barrett's information to Andrews' attorney. Andrews works as a sideline reporter traveling around the country covering college football games.
Barrett will have his first court appearance in Chicago at 10 a.m. Saturday. The maximum penalty for the charge of interstate stalking is five years in federal prison.

fucking idiot..........why the hell would you use a real name or use your own personal info. You can buy a fake I'd anywhere and you don;t have to give an credit card unless you are going to use anything in the room. Like the mini fridge or other shit. A hotel can't make you give that shit.
